She was the first surgeon in the Southeastern United States with fellowship training in SPAIR short-scar breast surgery, and is especially known for bringing the SPAIR to the South along with breast augmentations and breast lifts that look very natural, and combining her breast surgery expertise with additional body contouring procedures for the ultimate Mommy Makeover.

why did you get into this career?

Plastic surgery is unlike any other specialty, in that every person has a different set of goals for the outcome and a different situation from which they are beginning their journey. From a surgical perspective, this keeps things as interesting as they are fulfilling every day.

I get to help people live as the best version of themselves. There is nothing else like it!

when did you realize this was the right path for you?

During medical school, I rotated on the plastic surgery team. I realized right away that this specialty is unlike any other in the challenges to the surgeon and life improvement for the patient.

whats the latest advancement in your field that will benefit your patients?

Instead of looking to the latest hyped product that might be proven ineffective next year, I tend to look toward the solid, “tried and true” advancements. I think the most beneficial product on the market today is the modern silicone gel breast implant, which I like to discuss with my Vero Beach plastic surgery patients. It is sturdier and more natural feeling than ever before.
